Description
Many of my clients come to me after years of:
• recurring joint or back pain
• stiffness and movement limitations
• physiotherapy, massage, chiropractic or osteopathy
• exercise classes, gym programmes and rehabilitation exercises
• being told to “just strengthen” or “manage it”
Yet despite their efforts, the problem keeps returning.
The goal of this assessment is not to diagnose disease or treat symptoms. The goal is to understand how your joints and body are truly moving, where it may be compensating, and what may be contributing to the recurring cycle of pain, tension or movement limitations.
Who is this for?
This assessment is suitable if you:
• experience recurring joint or back pain
• have stiffness, tension or reduced mobility
• have been diagnosed with osteoarthritis or degenerative changes
• are preparing for or recovering from surgery
• struggle with balance, walking or confidence in movement
• want to understand your body better before committing to a programme
• are active but still frustrated by recurring aches, pains or limitations
What you’ll gain
By the end of the assessment, you’ll have:
• a clearer understanding of what may be contributing to your symptoms
• insight into how your body has adapted over time
• identification of key movement limitations and compensation patterns
• a personalised health roadmap outlining the priorities to address first
• recommendations for your next steps
• clarity on whether my biomechanics programme is the right fit for you
How my approach is different
Most assessments focus on the area that hurts. I look at how the whole body functions together.
Your knees do not work in isolation from your hips and feet. Your neck and shoulders do not work in isolation from your ribcage and breathing. Your posture is not simply about standing up straighter.
During the assessment I combine posture analysis and biomechanics to identify where your body may be compensating and where unnecessary strain and tension may be accumulating.
This helps us understand not only why symptoms appear, but what may be driving them.
What’s included
1. health & lifestyle questionnaire
Completed before your assessment to help me understand your health history, symptoms, lifestyle and goals.
2. Posture audit
You will submit four postural photos before the assessment. These provide valuable information about how your body is organising itself against gravity and where compensations may be present.
3. Biomechanics assessment
A detailed assessment of joint range of movement. We assess how your joints are functioning and whether restrictions and asymmetries may be influencing the way your body moves and loads itself.
Depending on your symptoms, we may also assess:
• eye convergence and visual function
• jaw tension and tongue posture
• foot posture and grounding
• breathing mechanics
4. Findings & explanation
We go through the assessment findings. I explain what I see, what may be contributing to your symptoms and which priorities I would focus on first. You’ll have plenty of opportunity to ask questions.
5. Personalised health roadmap
Following the assessment, you’ll receive a summary of findings and recommendations outlining:
• key areas of focus
• priorities for improvement
• suggested next step
• whether further support is recommended
6. Follow-up consultation
A 40-minute follow-up session to answer any additional questions and discuss your roadmap and options moving forward.
If you decide to join my biomechanics programme, the full assessment fee will be deducted from your programme investment.
Before you book
This assessment is designed for people who want to understand why their body may be stuck in a recurring cycle of pain, tension or movement limitations.
It is not a quick posture check. It is a detailed investigation into how your body is functioning and what may be preventing lasting change.

Bonnie Ryckova –
‘After months of severe plantar fasciitis, sciatica, and back pain – sometimes reaching an unbearable 8/10 – I turned to Bonnie after waiting nearly seven months to see a physiotherapist.
Her whole-body approach was eye-opening.
She didn’t just focus on my pain but uncovered deeper issues.
Bonnie explained everything clearly, making me feel heard and understood.
Her assessment was incredibly thorough, and the personalized exercises she provided have already made a difference – I feel so much better than just a week ago!
What makes Bonnie different is how she connects the dots between seemingly unrelated symptoms.
She doesn’t offer quick fixes – she helps you understand your body and create lasting change.
I highly recommend her to anyone struggling with pain and stiffness.’

‘I had a postural assessment with Bonnie in November 2024, and it was an eye-opening experience.
She was incredibly thorough and provided comprehensive evaluation, showing me how every part of my body – even my eyes – effects posture.
I know I have a hip issue, but Bonnie went much deeper pinpointing the root cause and giving me targeted exercises to start re-aligning my body from top to bottom.
If you are out of alignment or experiencing pain I highly recommend her.
It’s amazing how much we can do to heal our bodies once we understand what’s really going on. Bonnie’s expertise and insights were invaluable. ‘
